MrGanye: Any word on when your MBBZ goodness will arrive in New Plymouth??

Not yet... but down the road we've got Wanganui in The Zone, so watch this space!  We've currently got 17 cities and towns now enjoying Mobile Broadband love.

Cheers,
^SB

I'm located in Shiel Hill, Dunedin. The bottom of my road indicates coverage. But not where I live

loganjames: Oh I see that you've changed the pricing on the 3G data too! $50 for 5G - awesome!

That's totally uncool, I just bought a 3gb Data Pack on Saturday Night.

It's odd that Nelson hasn't been mentioned here, or by 2degrees on their Facebook page, but it seems to be on the coverage map and they were clearly testing when I was down there around Christmas.

The 3gb to 5gb is for a limited time? Like a one of thing?
It goes back down to 3gb once you've used the 2gb bonus?

As long as you buy it while it's still being advertised you get the 5GB with 2 months validity, and you can buy as many as you like, just as with the normal packs.

New Plymouth is not close by the looks of things. No radio spectrum registered for 2D to use yet in the New Plymouth area according to my searches of the MED RSM database. Gisborne has recently appeared in the licensed spectrum list so that shouldn't be too far off.

It seems strange, but no doubt there are a huge number of factors affecting who get's service for others, so I'm sure the energy capital of NZ hasn't been snubbed just for the sake of it over Wanganui or Palmy! :)

2degrees: Yep! It's true, we've added Hastings, Napier, Rotorua, Taupo, Palmerston North, Levin, Dunedin and Invercargill to the Mobile Broadband Zones today. Smile

We're building and testing in other spots, so bear with us as we work through the testing phase in those spots.

Cheers,
^SB

Any plans for Laingholm, Auckland?
