Interesting, I know a few people that have tried this and failed.

Ah, good to know it's a true bridge.
Even though the Frizt! looks like a stellar unit, it's handy to know it will do (or will it?) a full PPPoE bridge.

If its VDSL and your running VLAN 10 i don't think you can get it to work. Well i couldn't at least.

Please do tell if you get it working.

I borrowed a fritz box off a friend cause I didn't want to screw up my current config.

This one didn't have the standard VLAN option in those settings, Tried 0/100 and 0/110 which should have the same effect as setting VLAN 10.

VDSL and a Cisco router. I would pull the config, but the router is in Hamilton right now :-(

What firmware are you running?

You need the latest firmware to get the VLAN options. Also on VDSL there is a limit of 4 MAC addresses so be careful what you connect when the fritz is in bridge mode

I'll do a factory restart on the box this afternoon then give it another go.

Have you been able to get VLAN tagging working also ?
Ideally I would like to have the Fritz pass through the wan connection either by half bridge or a PPPoE tunnel as mentioned, then have a VLAN going from the firewall back to the device to provide wireless / SIP etc.
