In what areas? Just tried in Christchurch on my 21mbps usb stick but maxing out at 7mbps (not bad but i guess no hspa+)

It's very limited at the moment, which is why it's not announced.

I saw HSPA:11 on my GN in a couple of places - the Titan XE theater in Reading and in the food court at the BNZ. However because of other conditions (like poor signal quality) at neither point was the speed anything to write home about.
