It's an option as their fibre goes past - I think the major problem is that the ISP's that connect to unison no one has ever heard of and none of them publish their plans on their website and I have to say I'd be concerned about the amount of international bandwidth they buy.

I couldn't comment on that - however as far as national players go, both FX and CallPlus are interconnected in Rotorua (although the website only says Hawkes Bay).

Thanks for the suggestion - we've inked a deal to be on unison fibre but not through callplus as they didn't bother to return the call.

We have been trying to get signed up for UFB with callplus at work, it just having become available for us. Account manager initially gave all the info etc and we decided on the plan we wanted. I have been emailing him for the last few weeks to try and get us signed up. Not looking promising. I am assuming they dont want our business.....Telecoms UFB plan looked quite good but no static IP - so that makes them no good for us...

Yep I can't work it out, seems too easy really. Have you looked at any of the others.

Today I made an enquiry agreed the pricing, the ISP have negotiated a good deal for a complex install and we'll have it installed inside 3.5 weeks, now that's service.

We have an account with Telstra - now Vodafone. They don't seem to have any UFB plans yet.
Have business with call plus and they dont seem to be interested.
As mentioned telecom can't provide a static ip - so no good.

Suppose I could try orcon?
