rossmnz: So my 50GB of data is now 100GB?

I imagine it will take effect the next time your billing period resets.

Hi garvani

You can switch to UFB mid-contract - no problem at all.

October's not long to wait now!

Cheers
Ralph

Can we have confirmation that existing UFB customers will get upgraded from 50GB to 100GB?

Well would you look at that.

As said, automagic migration to 100 from 50 on lightwave? My cycle is 2nd-2nd so just flicked over last week before this was spotted :)

Or does the "new BoF-UFB subdivision special pack" prevent that..

Hi Little / Oblivian

ALL of our UFB Lightwave customers will be upgraded to the new base data packs during August, in line with your normal billing cycle. Geez we're good ;)

Cheers
Ralph

How about *50GB* 50/20 for the same price as 100GB 30/10? :)

Is this 50/20 plan going to be a reality and under what time frame indicatively?

Hi networkn

The 50/20 plan will be happening - we're just working through the logistics as each fibre provider seems to have slightly different timelines.

Don't hold me to this but I suspect we should be up & running within 2 months at the most.

Once we have a better idea our Geekzone friends will be the first to know ;)

Cheers

Hi Larno

We're still waiting for Chorus to confirm when we can order the new 50/20 profile, have been told it should hopefully be within the next few weeks.

Cheers
Ralph

A little bit off topic, but is there any news on when Snap will be offering UFB in some of the regional areas (like Palmerston North)?

Hi Lizard1977

Very very close now :) In fact, why don't you send us a DM with your address details?

We should have some good news for a number of few North Island locations in the next week or so - stay tuned!

Cheers
Ralph
