Ahh thanks for that. We only recently switched to unlimited so I wasn't sure if that was the usual peak p2p speeds. Although it wasn't a popular iso so not sure if it would be in your cache.
Everything else was snappy last night. We have not noticed any difference in streaming, browsing etc at peak times it's been great :)
When a cache dies for what ever reason that content is no longer available national'y and put's extra pressure on International transit thus speeds drop for popular and non-popular torrent's.
And its all because international transit is expensive compared to country's similar to New Zealand and thus ISP's have to cache some content to reduce demand on transit and speed up the delivery to you the user :)
that's my 2c on why :)
