gehenna: I'm in the process of deciding whether to ditch my 1TB cap and go with the Unlimited plan. Saves me $100 nearly a month, but I'd like to know some real world experiences of people using P2P in the evenings to know how much of an impact this makes to your download speeds.
Anyone?

Ramjet007: Hows gaming on the unlimited plan. I'm on the 200gb plan and very happy with that, but do have to start checking the usage near the 22nd.

Obviously my opinion is biased, but as you can see from the graph in the article there is very little shaping at peak times for P2P. We only put breaks on P2P if we really need to.
Another thing the article doesn't mention, is if you are getting popular Linux ISOs (Debian, Ubuntu...Not slackware) it will come out of our P2P cache at line rate bypassing any shaping.
friendlymonkey:
My p2p at 2000hrs last night 3-76kb/s
Same file this morning 0730hrs 850kb/s - 1.1mb/s

OUr P2P Cache had issues last night. Should be back to normal speeds tonight.
