Thanks for answering about the modem and settings, is anything else in your internet experience below par? PM me your account details and I'll have the team take a look but it would help if you had any other symptoms to report??? (or confirm you don't see any problems elsewhere, other sites, national traffic etc, either is useful information for troubleshooting)

Regards FireEngine

Great efforts, Orcon responders. Pity the OP is so rude.

remember, that speed test is generally done with a few threads generally..

when i stream to LAX, generally aim for about the 1500kbit mark, not because of bandwith limitations or anything but simply due to the way TCP/IP works.

unfortunately, until twitch bring out more servers closer, theres no way your gonna be able to push your bitrate too high without getting complicated.

try dropping your bitrate down a little and see if it doesnt steady itself a little better.

Hi Guys, so finally twigged from the OP that he is uploading a stream so we need to look at it from that point of view. I've invited one of our staffer gamers who has some Twitch experience over to look at this and we may lab it so see if/how we can optimise this further.

Hi All,

As Engine said I will be labing this one, if anyone else out there is streaming to Twitch I would really appreciate your feedback.

I don't have the trusted badge yet so if you are uncomfortable sending me a PM please forward one to FireEngine, I am looking for the good and bad really. Useful information would be your source IP and/or Orcon account details, your channel on Twitch and how your stream is performing.

Looking forward to seeing the content that's out there.

Sorry for the double post

Just finished our initial testing, it went quite well with about 10 users viewing my stream being served from Dallas so the route certainly seems adequate. .

I am keen to replicate your setup are you using the free version of xsplit? what are you using for your streaming source, what frame rate and resolution?.

Regards
