Interesting. This is what I see on a 10Mbps Snap ADSL2 connection:

1.66 seconds page ready to interact, 4.5 seconds total page load time...

As previously suggested, have you tried other WiFi channel? Have you tried a wired connection instead of WiFi?

Sort of OT , but on my iPad when I click the URL in the email to go to the recent post I go to the last page I viewed on that topic, as if it was cached or the URL indicator for the last post was ignored, any ideas MF?

Nothing much we can do around Safari not following what all other browsers do...

Sorry.

this still sounds like something in your usage patterns or your network layout itself.. although its odd that it only affects these two sites.

im on snap vdsl, IPv6 to geekzone, seems quite happy.

Just a wee update.

About 10 days ago they seemed to have fixed the problem......... Until now. It's back to slow again. Sick of calling them.

And also 2 weeks ago I asked to be upgraded from Deluxe UFB to Ultra plan. Billing cycle has rolled over to show new plan / charges but in still getting Deluxe speeds. After 5 calls to them and each time being told they are waiting on Enable to do the upgrade, I'm getting very annoyed with Snap and looking at the contract for a way to break it because they can't supply the services I want and that I'm paying for.

Come on Snap get your s@&$ together.
