marshalleq: I'm getting random we pages not working.  It almost looks like DNS issue as currently pages in cache are working and anything else isn't.  Though it appears getting to their site survives a reboot though others do not.  I think this is a slingshot issue.  Will call them in a moment.  You'd think they would have put a message up by now.

Let us know how you get on. Slingshot asked me to recheck my DNS settings on my modem. They were set as follows: primary DNS server address is 202.180.64.10, secondary DNS server address is 202.180.64.11. Still couldn't access the 2Talk webpage.

I'm working out of town again for the next 4 days, so I cant do further checks until Wednesday.

Not sure if the .11 DNS works but I found same problem seemingly with random web pages. changed DNS to .9 and all problems went away. Set the secondary DNS to another ISP just in case...

Time to find a new industry!

Hey guys,

This sounds related to a DNS issue we've been experiencing since just before the weekend. Had a fix in place but it doesn't look like it's stuck so there's another being worked on now. Hopefully we've seen the last of these problems. Sorry about all this, I'm sure it's been frustrating (I'm getting the same on my home connection so I've got a rough idea) but we're working on fixing it all up asap.

Cheers,
Chris

Thanks for the update, but it would be good if you actually updated the Network Status on your site regarding this. I mean that's what they're for right?

I've asked for something to go up there myself (makes my life easier too).

Just got word from one of our systems chaps to let yall know to avoid using 202.180.64.9 and 202.180.64.2 if you can. These are old servers and are likely to be shut down soon.

Cheers,

Chris

Hey guys, everything looks to be resolved now. Let me know if you're still having issues after a power cycle.

Cheers,
Chris
