Found you - Yes your number is still with your previous provider. Anyone on the Orcon network can still call you, you can call out but anyone off-Orcon can't call you as you've found out.

Will get your number ported asap.

I couldn't help but look at this and think "just go to the other end/top and blow it downhill"  laughing .... I'm sure its harder than that...

perhaps for the best,  imagine how much slower it would be having to go uphill.

Most blown fibre (yr1 & 2) are required to be preconnectorised (for the cabinet end) so can only be blowen one way - yr3 designs onwards use non-connectorised fibre so it can be blown from either end

Actualy it is a kevlar reinforced fibre patch cord.  It has a plug, on one end that requires positive presure upwards to disconnect and the base of the plug & cord are clamped in with a clip @ the back of the ONT - you would rip the whole ONT and back mount off the wall before you would damage the fibre lead.   I would be more concerned that the ONT is so low on the wall (min install height (as measured from floor to bottom) should be 300mm - with exceptions) manly to avoid acciddential physical damage and the ingress of dust off the floor etc.
