NZSimplicity:
eXDee: Noteworthy is the base plans of VDSL and Fibre have dropped from 100gb to 80gb.
At least it looks like existing users are not effected, just had a look at my account summary and it still says the original :)

It will change on the next billing rollover. I expect.

They can't reduce caps mid-month as it might push people over cap by no fault of their own.

this is my assumption too. snaps billing system is a bit of a pain to deal with, with plan changes..

surfisup1000: Am I missing something?
I am on UFB 100/50 .

Snap just reduced my monthly data from 150gb to 80gb , with no decrease in price.

How am I better off ? It looks worse to me.

It is worse. I hope Snap can confirm that existing customers do not get the reduced data cap limit when their next monthly billing cycle rolls over. Other ISP's add more data for same price but Snap reduced the caps.

Will not be recommending Snap anymore to family and friends. Vodafone and Telecom are much cheaper. Do not need unlimited. Needed more data for same price, not get it reduced with increased costs for same amount of data that was offered before.

Do whatever you want to do man.

No changes are being made to existing customers or their plans unless they request it. ^MC

Do you get charged to change to this plan?

I really like the fact that my month started yesterday...

From what I can tell, it now costs $139 for the snap unlimited 100/50 plan?

im sketchy about dropping my assured plan for unlimited still.. i dont want to see any management starting to fiddle later down the track afterall!

however, i have a few days to put the order in for the switch.. :D

I did but cancelled when it appears that Vodafones DSL gateway is in Auckland so that's an additional 10-13ms latency from Wellington

I like that my first hop is 4ms and don't want to lose that

And if we decide to revert back, do you still get the old benefits of your plan (like the extra 100GB for taking the 2yr VDSL plan)
