waynea: you may very well think that; but I couldn't possibly comment.

(yet).

i was somewhat expecting that to be pushing it a tad, good to know the thought has passed though ;)

I think I would push it personally, I'm on my number 2 energy imports machine of wonder(you may detect sarcasm) the techie tonight gave me 1 month free contract and was about to give me a third modem but Slingshot have a 2 modem only policy.

Thinking that if they cant supply a reliable modem and believe me I have been oh so patient then they will not hold me to my contract. lol

If I don't want to bridge is the Asus the best mainstream option out there??

And given i need a land line where do I go for supplier??

i've only ever heard good things about fritz boxes, you could buy one outright from snap or switch to them on a 24 month contract and get one free

*Insert big spe*dtest result here*

Snap are NZ Resellers.

Fritzboxes arent cheap devices though.. thats why people generally fall back to the asus one, which is a pretty solid modem too.

I can't believe you don't have a "network status" link on your home page. If I have trouble connecting the first thing I do is get on an internetted phone and check your end. As of now I can't find that info anywhere on your site. Hopefully I don't have to log in to see it.

It will be on our homepage very soon - we just signed it off in testing. Unfortunately it was left off the new website when we launched due to time constraints - but it will be all singing, all dancing soon.

The my account page seems pretty broken to me, but I am not 100% my setup has been applied correctly.

I am on UFB with Easyphone, but get seem to access this in the My Account section ? Should I be able to change Easyphone settings ?

I get this message at the bottom of the page

" You have logged in under a Visibill account. Your access to certain member services has been restricted."

So maybe that's a issue. Raised it with the help desk a while ago, but no joy so gave up !

Thanks

Warren

Hey Warren,

You should be able to access those features fine as long as you're trying to get in from a Slingshot connection. You mind messaging me your account number? Be keen to see how that helpdesk ticket is coming along.

Cheers,
Chris
