A number of sites are saying nexus 6 preorders are open but the site still says "coming soon"

Do you think this is a region locked thing, will I be able to order directly or will I need to parallel import the handset?

I believe that the only site with pre-order on is the US one and that seems to have gone to "out of stock" You won't see it in the kiwi Play Store any time soon.

Think I might just do the VPN / Youshop option.

I tried that when the N5 came out but couldn't get past the Play Store validation system. Good luck and let us know how you get on..
