fake routes on your router for 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 are all it took for the chromecast to behave.

unotelly have a list of others to put in as well, but those 2 were all I needed for chromecast.

also there is the geekzone discount for unotelly in the ads at the moment. Use that and its better.

Been researching and the most viable at this stage is to have a WiFi router that is able to redirect the DNS lookup.

Have been trying with the tp150 with no success.

I do have a WiFi Linksys with dd-wrt which I will test
