Hi ada101

Thanks for your support - we do really appreciate it!

SoberJoker - sorry I'm not sure I follow you? We're allowing our existing customers (even if still in contract) to take the new deal, as long as they commit to a new term - that seems pretty reasonable to me? And as a few others have stated, its not always about the last few dollars of difference, we think our 24/7 local support and fantastic quality network (look at all the speedtest posts lately getting linespeeds to Sydney!) is worth a small premium over some of the other "low cost" brands available out there.

Cheers
Ralph

Yeah your service is pretty good but been told that i need to sign up for another 24 months just to get a deal dosnt really make me feel appreciated after already been in a contract with you guys for almost 2 years. Nearly nobody wants to been in a contract with a internet company idk 24 months seems to long maybe 12months id think about it. theres all ways gonna be flavor of the month companys in a way but yea idk. Im not putting down your company i just come off like that cause i dont put much effort into posting i only do it when im pissed.

I am an existing Snap customer and wanted to switch to unlimited 100/20 plan
told Snap the transition end of Oct and Customers Rep replied said its going to take a few days to update my router
with some settings, done around 2nd Nov
now apparently I still waiting............. Does it really taking that long to switch over?

Check your username is set correctly. Mine was set to "username" It should have been set to username@snap.net.nz Because of that my plan change from 100/50 to 200/200 didn't go very well. I ended up with 100down/200up. A quick call to tech support sorted it out. They could tell I had the wrong username from their end. And they said that settings changes don't often work properly when the username is wrong. And yes my plan change took about 4 days.

Thanks Aredwood, I sent Snap my customer number not my "username"...... Now If I log in to my acct I can see that my new unlimited plan seems to be starting from 2nd Dec
as price changed on the invoice.... and my current plan still old plan.

So I guess its really going to take more than 1 month now to swich over.

cheers
