When the term "Naked broadband" was first used, the only voice option was POTS, hence Naked meant no phone service.

Along comes VOIP, "Genius" means broadband with VOIP phone, technically this is still a naked broadband service, it just has a VOIP phone service bundled with it.

Naked broadband as a product describes Orcon's naked broadband connection without any phone service, VOIP or POTS.

As I said, its as accurate as it can be given the legacy meanings.

It's pretty clear on the Orcon website that the "Naked" option includes NO Homeline.  Not sure how this is misleading.
