Actually that's interesting as something got switched recently...IP was originally 111.69.229.* and it's now 203.86.203.*....which geo-locates me in Christchurch (I'm in Auckland).  I guess they're trying to isolate where the issue is occurring.

I'm not.  Just sayin' that I suspect they've eliminated parts of the network to locate the issue.

Snap have moved you onto their static ips they use for testing.

I was on it for quite awhile when i was experiencing latency issues.

Snap take their time to look into things sometimes, but they do it so they have all the details.

Last time i dealt with congestion, it was for the most part, only affecting latency. Snap monitored my line from their side, i ofcourse monitored my side because i keep a close eye on that anyway.. snap moved my connection around to count out points in their network and concluded it was an issue on chorus's side. They pushed chorus and got it resolved pretty quickly.

It takes time to get to that resolution stage, but its worth the wait, the NOC guys take it very seriously when they start looking at issues like this :)
