Disabling global mode, re-enabling it, then rebooting again fixed the problem.

I had the same problem watching Netflix (USA) via Apple tv. After re-engaging global mode and rebooting modem it wouldn't work. I depowered the apple tv then turn it back on and its working now.

i notice that 99% of the comments on Stuff were totally against TVNZ, Sky etc.
