bameron: Hi all,

We're always looking at different options, so we're definitely keeping an eye on this. In the short term though, we have no plans to launch a 200Mbps Fibre plan.

Cheers,

Cam

So much for the line that was in your signup process when I signed up saying 200Mbps coming soon or being looked into.

Yup, still on the Orcon UFB page as well...

Well spotted! I'll let the team know. Cheers!

How about letting the team know that people would actually quite like 200Mbit...

I think the issue is that it definitively states a 200Mb plan is coming soon to certain areas whereas your response is that you're considering it with no plans to introduce that speed soon. They are two contrasting statements.

That page is out-of-date which is why I've asked the team to update it.

For the avoidance of doubt: there are no short-term plans to introduce a 200Mbps service. We realise there are some that would love to sign up for such a service, which is why we aren't categorically ruling it out. My apologies for any confusion here.

Put us in the bucket of 'would love a 200mbit' plan. We're in an area that has the option of 200mbit, and even with 100/50 we have around 13 people sharing the connection at night. All of the streaming can make everything a tad slow :)

Careful guys, they'd probably force you into another contract if you up from 100 to 200 anyway.
