I got my bonus 500MB on renewal on the 28th, before I'd heard of the rewards. Nice surprise! Came before the 2degrees email about it even! I renew each month, so my plan is basically 1GB. That'll do for now!

DizzyD: Not prepay, but good news for pay monthly customers:

At 2degrees, it's our mission to make sure you're enjoying the best possible value which is why we are giving you more data! From 17 October we will increase your 750MB of monthly NZ Carryover Data to 800MB per month. Your plan is still on a Freedom Term so you can change plans at any time. You can call us to chat about the change on 0800 022 022. Enjoy your extra data and thanks for being with us.

Hah - I think you forgot a sarcastic smiley there.

I'm still getting 1GB on the grandfathered $29 plan, which was slashed to 750MB shortly after its introduction, over a year ago. At this rate, it's going to be 2020 before I see an improvement in my data allowance. What a weirdly small increase, given that those on the $19 prepay plan are now getting 1GB.

I was being sarcastic by not adding a sarcastic smile ;-)

Actually really disappointed about this. Only 50MB? $29.00 per month for 800MB of data.
Come on 2 Degrees, Was this your idea of a bad joke?

Ledgy: There's just not enough data in these prepay carry over packs. Simple as that & it's across the board without you digging deeper into your wallet for data packs.

You get alot of call time which hardly anyone uses. 731 minutes for me. Need to find the balance of these combo packs. Call time=data. With data hungry apps etc nowadays it's just not enough even simply checking emails everyday & a quick look on facebook 500mb does not go far & i'm a light user really. 500mb on combo plans have stayed the same for a long time.
The advanced technology we have today we still pay through the nose for it in NZ.

With the incentives on carry over packs to get an extra 100mb here, 200mb there after serveral topups. Seriously?
If you want more data, go on account - since with 2degrees it's all open term, so you're not locked into anything at all - it's just as flexible as being on prepay. Plus you don't have to worry about topping up, it gets to the start of your month each month and it just... goes. Nice and simple.

Is why I migrated from prepay to account for the first time earlier in the year.
