Day 10 with MR I am happy, in terms of the deal, the speed (100/50), service desk response, and overall switch over experience.

Yes it took 4 working days before I can receive incoming call going during the switch over (I am able to make outgoing calls out on the very same day) - but if it is a big deal to you... then better to check again with MR or existing provider how long it would take....

The suggestion from not to deal with VF before everythings done was very helpful!! switch over and termination went smoothly.

I've been with Paradise/TCL/Vodafone since 2001, but I just took the plunge and signed up with MR yesterday.

Let me know how it goes as I'm looking at doing the same what with all the congestion issues

Will do. I actually wanted to go with Voyager if we went naked as their $69 naked plan seems like the best deal around. But the others still wanted phone and MR has a slightly better deal with their promo than Voyager, so we went with MR. Also, MR don't charge a fee if you move house (which we will be, as we are building a new house) whereas Voyager get you to pay half the termination fee or renew your contract.

So it now been a month since I signed up. MyRepublic or my LFC haven't contacted me yet. Is it suppose to take this long?

Are you in Christchurch? Enable is a bit slow these days.

Yeah I'm in Christchurch and I only got contacted by Enable today! So I signed up on the 28th January and heard nothing until today. So waited nearly 2 months! Getting scoped on the 5th April.
