It's not a policy.

iPad Pro 11" + iPhone 15 Pro Max + 2degrees 4tw!

These comments are my own and do not represent the opinions of 2degrees.

Hi @wlfkfgkwlaktka

If you brought your phone over from Spark/Skinny your phone may not be picking up our U900 3G signal (it should connect to 2100MHz ok) so it may kick down to 2G.

We'd need details to check.

Can you PM us details including -

Your number

Time of call/dropping to 2G

Exact location at the time

Number you were calling at the time.

Thanks

^POB

I have moved back to Spark because I just couldn't stand it.

Anyway, if it helps to solve this issue:

My handset was an iPhone 6s directly from Apple website NZ.

Time of call/dropping to 2G (or no data) - happens pretty much every time I make a call. It's not restricted to morning or evening times.

Exact location at the time - I was in the Newmarket train station area

I see that several people are experiencing the exact same issue here on the forum. Based on this, I don't think this is my handset problem.

Sorry but this isn't the normal experience for customers. It's a bit difficult to troubleshoot after the event but please PM us if you'd were thinking of returning to 2degrees and give us another chance to look into it. :)

Cheers

That 'may' be the case, but you've just had multiple others, myself included, stating that we indeed are having the same trouble?

There's a number of reasons why this could happen (traffic, interference, handset, settings, phone capability, network frequencies, outages etc) so each scenario would need to be troubleshooted.
