Your isp's needs to up their back haul links, and not take an age to do it, streaming tv is killin it, Just saying.

Nope since it is affecting multiple ISPs it is most likely occurring on the Enable UFB bitstream network (within the IP backbone).

you probably have a separate issue with your connection - everyone else in this thread is in CHCH

I had some downtime/high latency last night 4:09am - 5:25am with BigPipe in Halswell on my monitor probe but haven't looked what exactly it comprised of

Yeah I noticed it around 8.45pm, ping to google.co.nz increased by 30ms. Not as bad as Friday night but still not right.

By the sounds of things a potential cause was identified and a fix applied overnight last night.

 

Can you all please keep an eye on this over the next couple of days and let us know if you see an improvement?
