I think his point is if you're only ever going to have $20 in your account, and top up exactly $20 every month to buy the $20 Warehouse Mobile plan every month with no unused credit, it really doesn't matter unless you forget to top up.

Thank you. That was my point all along.

Also you can set it to auto-topup each month.

Linux: Warehouse mobile credit expires after 31 days if not used which is a down side

Is this fundamentally different from the prepay combos from other providers which all expires after a month as well?

Yes, warehouse your $ expires after 31 days.

I top up $20 into Warehouse mobile and it expires after 31 days. I need to top up every month to keep it going.

I buy a $19 combo from 2degrees and it expires after a month. I need to buy the $19 combo every month to get it going.

I still don't see a big difference here, am I missing something?

Thats fine if your monthly spend matches your topup. But I believe the minimum topup is $10 and if you only want to spend $4 that month, you are  effectively donating $6 to The Warehouse.

Then I imagine another provider such as Skinny may suit you better if you only spend $4 a month, with one of their plans.

So it's like a prepay plan with no carryover, where you will lose the remaining minutes/data to the carrier.

I suppose it's not too dissimilar to other carriers, if all you want is 1GB or unlimited txt then it'll cost you ~$10 elsewhere anyway. Not exciting for low use or single service users, OTOH their casual rates are good so anyone who'd use two of three moderately + light use casual rate on the third could get it for $10, and at that useage it does seem cheaper. Hmm, the topic being 2Ds $19 prepay, I'm thinking WM competes well on price - saving $9 a month is $108 in a year.
