will 2 degrees update their $19 prepay ?
vodafone $19 prepay has 150mins and 750MB, they all carry over.
is 2 degrees not competitive any more or do they have better offer coming soon ?

There are a few other things to take into consideration.
The 2 degrees $19 prepay starts out at 500 MB the first month but increases in subsequent months, up to 1 GB a month.
The Vodafone prepay apparently has carry over limits of 500 minutes and 3.5 GB data. For people who have low usage most months but might occasionally have need for a lot of minutes or data in a single month, the higher carry over limits of 2 degrees would be a big advantage. I might never use my current 2 degrees prepay accumulation of almost 1200 minutes and 11 GB of data but it's nice to know they are there if needed.
Warehouse Mobile.
$20 gets 1.5GB data, 120 minutes, unlimited text. (Double data/minutes this month.)
No carryover, still the cheapest deal.

Yep. I looked at switching from Skinny to Warehouse Mobile but it's too time intensive managing it to maximise value and in the end only saving a pittance.
PhantomNVD: Yep, I think 2D have a great retention package in that I'll find it really hard to ever walk away from my 7Gb and 1100 minutes banked. I now effectively have an 'unlimited' plan for $19/m and feel I can call/txt/browse as I like as I'm now so far in credit.
They also do data sharing, so if/when I reach my usual scrape-through-till next data topup (been away for a while) I can start slurping SWMBO's data again too :)

I didn't think you could do data sharing on prepaid?

Is this fundamentally different from the prepay combos from other providers which all expires after a month as well?

Yes, warehouse your $ expires after 31 days.
I top up $20 into Warehouse mobile and it expires after 31 days. I need to top up every month to keep it going.
I buy a $19 combo from 2degrees and it expires after a month. I need to buy the $19 combo every month to get it going.
I still don't see a big difference here, am I missing something?

@DarkShadow Yes you are missing the point, Your unused credit expires after 31 days not like the others which is 12 months,

Your Warehouse data/minutes are gone after your 31 days, my 2D data minutes are still mine for up to 12 months,(as long as I remain a customer) which is why I currently have 7Gb and 1000+ minutes available for when I go away from my home base data/phone and I can still binge online videos and call to my (wife's) hearts content...

I think his point is if you're only ever going to have $20 in your account, and top up exactly $20 every month to buy the $20 Warehouse Mobile plan every month with no unused credit, it really doesn't matter unless you forget to top up. Then it might be a pain to reactivate everything. But then again, I'm not sure if Warehouse Mobile offer a "grace period" for this sort of stuff.
