Kiwiprobie:

Orcon is not all that good, I am on 200/200 and I get 131.86 Mbps / 220 Mbps, the download speeds is not what im paying for and not near what I'll expect and the upload is better than the download.

I am going to be changing after my contract with Orcon is over.

I assumed the same thing, I did some troubleshooting turns out my WAN cable between the ONT and my router was only allowing 160/90mbit though after upgrading to GIG the speed never changed.
Turns out my WAN cable has been faulty for months my TV cabinet had flattened some of the cable.

Replaced the cable then BAM 880/490

Great to see I now have Unlimited ADSL. Really enjoying being able to watch The Handmaids Tale on Lightbox without having to worry about my data.

Generally known online as OpenMedia, now working for Red Hat APAC as a Technology Evangelist and Portfolio Architect. Still playing with MythTV and digital media on the side.
