scottjpalmer: I see the have changed their ID from NZ 24 to NZ COMMS.

Good times are coming when you have the choice of 3 providers from a single device!

NZ 24 (or 530 24) is just the network code, the phone adds the name "NZ COMMS", from it's internal network database.

Ahh thanks

So the newest N95 firmware must have had NZ COMMS added to it and that phone must have that firmware onboard?

Every other reference I have seen has been NZ 24

Yes, that is correct. Also, the the other reason it would say NZ 24, instead of just the code 530 24; is because 530 is the New Zealand code, so the phone already interpreted this part of it. Same goes for Telecoms new network: NZ 05 (or 530 05)

Thanks for the info.

(I can verify my new Nokia E71 has the Telecom NZ update, I'll have to head into Auckland to verify the NZ Comms one but I assume it will be the same)

On Waiuku Road near Glenbrook Station Road and on Brookside Road/Glenbrook Beach Road intersection. They are both hill top locations - how far south is the southernmost site? I have seen the one in Drury but last time I checked it wasn't live. Is there one in Karaka or Clarks Beach somewhere? Or will the above be coming across the water from Hillsborough or Mangere or thereabouts?

Could be from across the water. Hard to tell without being able to see signal strength. I'll upload a picture of one of their towers for ya (next few days once I've snapped one)

They are all the same I take it, like the one in Drury right by the motorway and the one just south of Mangere Bridge beside the motorway?
