Hi All,

Just a quick update - Over the last week we have been continuing to troubleshoot this one, we are working with Juniper TAC - More to share when information becomes available (we haven't forgotten) :-)

Nick.

Yep pretty-much spot on 2pm NZST (had the timezone not set on the VM I'm using for this). My script runs every 5mins.

Yes I was working from home when I noticed it. Of course I do not know all the times it happens when I am away but good Mr Murfy got the logs.

Just lost IPv6 access on my unifi setup.  Was working fine this morning before I left for work but has stopped now; no machine in the house has an address and ipv6.google.com has stopped working too.

Update - 25/02.

Hi All,

We have replicated the issue on the testbed and managed to get some very detailed/good quality captures/outputs from both testbed and Mauricio's live Fritz device (with his permission of course). From this we can see the issue has a chance to present itself every 12 hours based on when the subscriber first obtained their addressing from us. This has given JTAC (Juniper Support) a good grasp on the symptoms of the issue and gives us the best times for us to begin detailed captures across our test devices.

With this information JTAC are building a lab internally to attempt to reproduce the issue, we are continuing to provide feedback/outputs pro-actively and as requested.

Nick.

It used to be rock solid but now getting disconnects every other hour. Fritzbox 7490 with ONT with the OR code on it. South Auckland. Usually when this happened I used to to power cycle my ONT and it would be rock solid but now it seems it's an issue on the network itself.

Hi All,

We have a heap more trace options on at the moment, and we are continuing to work with JTAC on this - Tt's become the needle in the haystack unfortunately.

Nick.

Update 13/03/19

Hi All,

Good news - We have found the needle in they haystack, we can reproduce this consistently in the lab. We are supplying this information to JTAC for them to investigate and advise a way forward.

Nick.
