Can't help here. Last notification I got was yesterday.

Strange for chorus not to have updated it.

Does anyone know exactly what happened? As there seems to be an awful lot of areas that have faults at the moment. Yet no major weather events or similar.

Thankfully my UFB is still working (and I also live on the North Shore). But new areas appeared to have faulted since I last looked.

How exactly does the Chorus outage map work? Are those outage areas saying that everyone within the area has no service? Or will the same thing happen even if only 1 connection has a fault?

When you look at the Chorus map it tells you how many connections are affected - it was about 50 when the OP reported this, and had dropped to about 20 yesterday afternoon, despite it covering a wide geographical area, it's not affecting huge numbers of customers.
