When this is enabled will we see inter-network HD calling with it?

For the brief time I was on Vodafone I noted when a call was using VoLTE I could call a mobile on Spark and the call qual was superb. I have got Wifi Calling enabled but note the call qual over that isn't the greatest, improved a little when I enabled QoS in my router to give it priority.

Eventually, I expect so. Interconnects are moving from TDM to SIP over time.

My phone just upgraded to iOS 14 and note the 2degrees Carrier bundle is now ver 42 (was 41 in ios 13.7). Tried the VoLTE toggle and it still brings up that warning message.

Looks like it can't be far away, Google found this page which no longer works: https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:XpxZ8KUC3goJ:https://www.2degreesmobile.co.nz/help-and-support/mobile/products-and-services/volte/+&cd=2&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=nz

@DjShadow Guess it was further away than thought

This is good to see, @morganbrowne can you advise what areas are now live for VoLTE? I still get a message on my iPhone saying the carrier is not certified for VoLTE (iOS 14.1 - Carrier Bundle 43.0)

Will have to grab a 2d sim and actually verify this considering I own a 2d S20+ from PBTech whilst I still have it.

Hoping that's a typing error because the Note 20s are there but not the S20s.

Also yes please knowing where VoLTE is live would be gre-

And that's the case.

Closest I can get to an RCG site is Eyrewell which is close to Kirwee where my in laws live. Might take a trip out with the fiancée and test.

Would be nice if they were actually rolling this out to most of their sites but I imagine that will happen soon. Will keep an eye.

Can confirm that VoLTE settings did not load onto my S20+ but VoWiFI did so I guess it's a waiting game for that phone to get supported. Unsure why the S20 line is completely out of the question. Maybe Morgan can comment.

It's a website error as they've moved to a new page design and missing some of the new devices (probably gap in design handover). Here's the correct list which lists the S20 range:

https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:poswjXviScgJ:https://www.2degreesmobile.co.nz/help-and-support/broadband-and-landline/broadband/rural-broadband/

I had an S20 which (from memory - got rid of it due to so many bugs) unlike some other manufacturers there's no toggle switch to turn it off / mention of it in the settings.

Hi everyone,

Our website has just been migrating to some new pages as you may have noticed. S20, as well as other more recent devices, should be on this list. This new page just hasn't finished being updated yet. Hope this helps!

I am sure 2degrees is holding off launching VoLTE until more of the MoRAN deployment is complete but the 2d website looks very broken at the moment no style sheets or anything
