Who/where is the MIRA company?
A Google search has answered my question:
https://www.zdnet.com/home-and-office/networking/vocus-officially-acquired-by-mira-aware-super-consortium-for-au3-5-billion/
Gordy
My first ever AM radio network connection was with a 1MHz AM crystal(OA91) radio receiver.
Heads up for anyone being migrated.
Slingshot is enabling Port Filtering as part of the migration from Stuff fibre, so if you are hosting anything on these ports you may find they no longer work after being migrated. Go into their portal and disable port filtering to open it back up.
https://help.slingshot.co.nz/hc/en-us/articles/360005168434-Port-Filtering
They are also subscribing you to the Family Filter subscription (though it is set to off), which is currently free but will be $5 per month after the first 12 months. Not clear how or when this applies to Stuff fibre users but it may end up being a silent new charge in 12 months if you don't disable it.
https://help.slingshot.co.nz/hc/en-us/articles/360000047893-Slingshot-Family-Filter
Family Filter is $5 per month and we are currently offering the first 12 months of this service free of cost.
IPv6 continues to work.

IMHO I see Orcon Group (as Vocus in NZ is sold) will be the business/wholesale/government brand and 2degrees (or slingshot) will be the retail brand
Just to clear this up, Vocus Group Ltd became Orcon Group Limit when it was about to be IPO'ed.
It has since stopped its IPO when MIRA bought Vocus Group (the entire of Vocus not just NZ), which has since purchased 2Degrees. The new NZ entity will be branded 2Degrees rather than Orcon Group.
2Degrees is the parent company brand with all the subbrands underneath (Vocus, Slingshot, FLip, 2degrees etc)
Orcon group Limited sounds so familiar.... it's almost like 9429037865863 used to be related...

Any comments made are personal opinion and do not reflect directly on the position my current or past employers may have.
If the Slingshot and Flip brands are going to be retained it'll be interesting to see how they are made to look different or will they just be brands competing against each other?

This has actually become core strategy for a couple of providers now, as the customer is usually entirely unaware it's actually the same company it allows customers to churn without actually loosing the customer entirely.
Have any other ex stuff-fibre customers noticed that since being migrated to Slingshot that you get disconnects?
I had hardly any with Stuff-Fibre and since migration to Slingshot I've found that my router has since migration lost its DHCP connection and I have to reset it. This never occurred previously
Have you let them know?

Not yet I wanted to see if other ex stuff stuff-fibre customers migrated to Slingshot had the issue, it occurs approx every 2 weeks, appears to be lost of dhcp address and not automatically renewing

No issues for us. Using their RT-AX58U if that helps.
