I reached out to somebody I know at 2degrees. This should be fixed in the hour.

I would have thought the behaviour would be independent of ISP - or is the DIA block implemented at the discretion of the ISP?

More likely related to the change in upstream arrangements that occurred on Monday (dropping of Cogent bandwidth).. was it a planned change or they forget to pay the bill.... 😬

DIA filter faults have happened in the past but usually on an individual IP level, not entire routing prefixes.

Zero

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Woohoo!.  All good so far. App logs in, and shows tracker position.  Still some holes in the amazon reachability:

but 54.169.0.2 is clear.

@michaelmurfy, hundreds of cat owners throughout the motu have elevated you to saintlike status. Many many thanks.

Just out of interest, was it DIA?

Was a routing problem I’m told. Good to see it’s sorted!

Just because a cat has a tracker on it doesn't elevate it above feral status.
