Some changes have been made to the network and I'd be curious to hear about current VDSL speeds to those impacted.  There have been positive responses from some impacted customers.

Nice work @chrisvp its hard telling people on here to stop resetting VDSL modems as that can create faults that never existed in the first place.

Would have been nice if this had been the cause.

@sscribenz (or anyone else) have you noticed some downloads get throttled to 16Mbit/s?

on speedtest some servers will get the full 100Mb/s download, some will start at 100Mb/s then after a few seconds go down to 16Mb/s and some will be 16Mb/s the whole time.

Downloading a windows iso from microsoft gets full speed but downloading files from google drive will be 16Mb/s with occasional spikes to 100Mb/s

When it happens the whole connection slows to a crawl, if someone starts streaming TV when I'm playing an online game I get disconnected for 15 seconds (but the video streams fine)

It has been like this ever since it was "fixed", I was just hoping that it would resolve itself

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

I'm definitely noticing some inconsistencies with my throughput.

At various times it seems to be limited at less then line speed.
I've not noticed any pattern yet but not had time to investigate much.
VDSL connection is still showing solid
