unowho08: You can use the Automation feature within the Shortcuts app to create two rules so that your iPhone is only using WiFi Calling while at work (where the issue with the mobile network is occurring):
1) When you arrive at your work location, turn Airplane Mode on, turn WiFi on, turn Bluetooth on, turn Mobile Data off
2) When you leave your work location, turn Airplane Mode off, turn WiFi on, turn Bluetooth on, turn Mobile Data on
legend. It crossed my mind it would be nice if you could assign wifi calling to specific networks you knew were stable enough but I hadn’t thought of using shortcuts to do it. I’ll set that up this morning.

Let us know how it goes. It’s interesting how much easier things are when you add small automations to your daily routine that fix annoyances like the issue you’re facing. Of course, if the automation doesn’t work as intended, you’ve just added to your problems ;)
I just read your description properly and this is what I was finding - There is no shortcut to specifically turn wifi calling on and off. My issue is I don't want WIFI calling on anywhere else as I often take or make calls leaving a client and I'll end up dropping calls as it doesn't roam from a wifi call to a network one.
The shortcut you describe and I found elsewhere talks about enabling airplane mode to FORCE wifi calling but my understanding is that if you are on wifi and its turned on it wall always use it before network.
Its a shame there isn't a way to simply shortcut that feature on and off but it appears not at this point.
I'll see how I go but the problem seems to have resolved - Whether my wandering around the carpark and street testing my phone was seen and they've turned a device off remains a mystery.
We'll see if the issue returns - It was definitely happening late friday and all monday followed by half of tuesday.
If it happens again I'll quickly call 2D and see if they can get their guy with a scanner down here to look for an unusual signal.
In the mean time it pissed me off but there is little that can be done now its stopped.

Linux: @mobiusnz calls hand over from WiFi calling to the VoLTE / 4G mobile network and back to Wi-Fi calling no issues at all
This was implemented about 2 - 3 years ago
Ah - I'll have to test - Someone (I think it was the person on the helpdesk at 2D - Not a technician though) told me it wouldn't hand over.
Anyway - Came back to say I just met the 2D field technician who is driving around to investigate. I was worried it stopped just when I got to the point of 2D investigating and I'd look like a fool who'd dreamed the issue but he said yesterday just around the corner he had massive signal strength at 40db interfering so he is continuing to drive around to hone in on the rogue signal.
I'm very impressed that 2D followed up on this and in the scheme of things they did it quite quickly that I only rang for the very first time on Monday.
I hope he finds it as my symptoms seem to be much better now but he showed me there was still bad signal in my area - Just lower strength than it was elsewhere in the block.
I know this is a serious issue to 2D but at the same time it would have been easy to ignore it on the strength of one client reporting issues but I like to think I provided good information to back up the point that it wasn't just an issue with my handset.
