I think they have had/are having a massive outage. Lost internet at home from around 01:15. Mobile was intermittent from then too. Datacentre access is down. From their website:

Broadband

Due to Third party planned work, some customers in Auckland region may experience a disruption to their Internet and Voice services, we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Our engineers are working to restore services.

I just called their corporate line and didn't get through but they rang back after 5 mins. Apparently the guy I was speaking to said a full power loss occured at their Northcote datacentre but apparently the network is fully back. Still can't access multiple racks there including through different routers or out-of-band. It doesn't make sense, either the network isn't fully back as he said or the power loss is ongoing (and will need to visit). He is checking with their NOC and will call back.

Just adding this happened to me in Palmerston North as well, from around 1.20am till about 3.30am on the 3rd. I logged a fault via my phone and went to bed - got a response 2 days later saying along the lines of 'well everything looks good your end now so nothing to see here'

We went like this. he went like that. I say "Where'd he go?" Hollywood says "Where'd WHO go?!"

Interesting stuff.... I thought it was just me (Tauranga)...

Been working perfectly until about 2 weeks ago (11 months in with 2D), then bam! random drop-outs that a reboot of the ONT, router and satellite fixes for a very short while.

Been reset a few times now under the guidance of 2D tech Support, in various ways, but inevitably, starts to fail again.

My setup was Router in garage wired to poe switch, wired to camera, NAS and switch upstairs, to satellite, TV, Amp & recorder.  Everything else wireless.

I tried all sorts of configs, from nothing attached but wifi available; satellite on wifi backhaul; etc. and it still failed off and on.

Popped my old Cambium r201P back in and hasn't failed once, with everything set up exactly as listed 2 lines up.

I don't get it!  Looking hard at a pair of TP-Link X58's on special for NZ$250 landed (or maybe even just stay with the 201P), or a used X58 on its own off TM... value any thoughts (PM if OT).

My rig: HP Elitebook X360 Lappy with a 2Tb SN850.. woohoo.. I've retired!
