Parents renewal offer for 300/100 was 80/m for 12 months, including a $5 supergold discount.

Probably could have got a better offer but for them its more stress to churn and have to ensure the billing dates are correct etc

With slingshot, been a customer about 9 years. About 14 months ago I got a 12 month fix term @ $89 per month due to price increase to stage. Now on $109 per month. On the Unlimited Gigantic Fibre Broadband - Fibre Broadband plan. Just got an email of a $2 increase effective mid march. I might make the call today and ask what they have to offer.

Been thinking about QUIC for a while. Would be interested in knowing how people have found the switch? My very minor concern is the location(s) of the QUIC Core edge for international connectivity. I spend the bulk of time working on the major hyperscale's in AU and US. I have to hand it to the crew at the 2D service has been pretty good. Helpdesk has hopeless, when I reported the outage last year I got told it was my problem 36 hours later.

OK I called 2D and their customer management team called back an hour later.

Remained on the Ultimate Unlimited Fibre (882/495Mbps) for $85 which includes a $10 discount with a pay monthly plan.

I also asked if there was a deal on the modem as I needed to upgrade my oldie. The chap offered that for free, an Orbi modem rental for free (normally $5/month). Just need to pay $15 for shipping. So it pays to just ask!

Overall, very happy with the deal.
