ahmad: Did you actually follow the advice and put the carrier bundle into your phone so that it is fully set up to go?
You do realise that after you apply that tiny update that it will not affect your Vodafone settings right? You can switch between SIMs at will without any problems and the iPhone will know which settings to use.
