If you throw your address into www.telecomwholesale.co.nz/map... what does it say you are connected to?
I assume you are directly plugged into the modem rather than Wireless.

nzkiwiman: I haven't bothered with the helpdesk. I'm still waiting for a reply to my support incident from Aug 2009 when I changed plans and it all went pear shapped (see thread: http://www.geekzone.co.nz/foru...)
Its like Orcon knew that the You Tube promotion would use a lot of bandwith and so opened up a 20 lane super-highway onto the internet and as soon as the promotion was over, closed 16 of those lanes and 2 have rush hour traffic on them from 5pm till 12am (ish)

Can't beleive it took 2 hours to send a form email though.
