Hi Mauricio,

Your commentators are correct - the $2 launch SIM card is being retired and is in the process of being replaced by the $5 SIM card, which comes loaded with $1 of credit.
The $20 SIM card remains unchanged - $20 for $20.

Thanks!

DjShadow: $25 per gig? :)

Considering its $15/Gig in Ozzy, I do not see how this can be an issue in NZ.

2degrees told NBR the data increase was a typo (I guess of the kind where you meant to type 50 cents, but you slip and type $1). Sim card price is going up.

Hi Chris,

Thanks - however if you read this thread from the beginning you'll see that we've already addressed those points with Geekzone members earlier in the day.
One thing we didn't mention however is that if customers port their current mobile numbers over to the 2degrees network they receive $5 of credit for doing so. If a customer was to take advantage of this offer then the new $5 sim actually ends up costing them nothing and for those that purchase a $20 SIM they end up with $25 worth of credit.
Cheers!

And people who read NBR but would never visit Geekzone got to hear about it, with a nod (and link) to Geekzone members for spotting it. I'm okay, you're okay.
