Are you able to get the Next Big Thing where you are?  TNBT 1 is $79.95 so only 3 dollars more than you are paying nowand you get FS up and down and 5gb of data + free offpeak traffic.

Or do you need a phone line, or get by with a VOIP line instead?  If so there is the Just Broadband plan for $79.95 with full speed up and down and 25gb of data and a free VOIP line.

who me?
sorry i dont understand any of that ive only been using broadband for a few months
was using dial up for many years so i dont understand the fast connection
terms am slowly learning via this website im not sure what tnbt or voip is

i can only afford up to $30 a month for slingshot broadband plus their homephone line
 charge
lost my job etc
i am getting fast downloads
just browsing and uploading is really bad exactly like dial up but like the person told me
 earlier
the everyday plan I am on is only 128 upload which i now understand just a shame
i didnt do my research better when canceling my telecom n movin to slingshot

i cant afford to upgrade to more than what i have now just hope no one makes my mistake before
switching over

Northland: really? wow i was paying 10$ more with telecom but 2GB's less
so i switched over to slingshot but with the upload speed feels like
its only about 2x faster than dial up

Well 128k would certainly be more than double the 56k dialup speeds (which has only 33k upstream), but still really slow.

Time to find a new industry!

I'm on a 128kbps upload plan and don't seem to have problems when uploading of it blocking all other activity, the only time I have experienced that kind of network behaviour was when I had uTorrent set to unlimited upload, but that was sorted but limiting the upload speed to 8kBps that's 64kbps. bits & bytes explained.
My I ask what your using that is clogging up your connecting with it's uploading?
That Telecom Go plan didn't explain the speeds, I think it was a FS/FS connection.

You mentioned a problem with billing, you don't have to wait for the bill to start paying it, if you on a limited budget then just pay a little each week, so by the time you get your bill, it will be paid for.

The Slingshot plan looks way better than the Go plan, especially since you where using all your data in a few days and then would have been capped to 64kbps/64kbps and would have had to wait a month to get reset.
On Slingshot you can buy more data blocks if you use all your data and get your speed back again, and if you seclude your bulk downloading to happen in the free data period then your cap can last even longer.

I don't think you have made a mistake joining Slingshot.

hellonearthisman thank you for telling me about your case it opens my eyes up a bit
i dont know anyone that has slingshot so I am completely clueless to how they work
whether it be billing or internet usage so thank u

I am still unclear as to when payments are due is it true you only have 7days to
make full payment before late payment fees incur? thats just crazy i know its only a
cheap plan but with telecom it was nearly 3 weeks to pay it in full.

I dont have torrent or download things like limewire etc..
i get my songs from my brothers usb n i send them to my friend which is why i care more
about my upload speed rather than my download speeds.

Yes the go plan was alot faster than slingshot FS/FS I really dont want to pay the 149 to terminate
just seems to be going all wrong in only a cpl days i will try wait this out n stick with the issues
