While I know you (presumably) have a Vodem have you considered the XT 500MB plan on prepay? If you don't use any data you'll pay $0 per month and then a maximum of $29.95 for 500MB.



I think you have missed the point of the first comment, he is looking for a alternative to xt, because of the Internet meltdown that happen the other day


TC is not Telecom and as far as I am aware Telecom has had no major problems in Christchurch this week, TCL on the other hand had a bit of a hiccup the other day...;

The correct acronyms are;

TCL - TelstraClear
TNZ - Telecom New Zealand
VF (or VFNZ) - Vodafone

Sorry if it was reference to TC (Telstra clear) above, but if you refer to the following thread in Telecoms Forum, that would imply there was internet problems also, correct me if i'm wrong, are these also associated?
