NZCrusader: It wasnt slingshots network.

Aftershock damage I was told.
It was telecoms equipment  damaged in Christchurch, hence Chorus was fixing it.

I Knew It.

kdc69: I am with Slingshot and today our line has been constantly dropping.
Rang them and they said it was a problem in the South Island.
Any ideas what has happened?

They are hopeless isp
I would not recommend them to anyone

Did I not just say it was Telecoms network at fault.

How can SS be responsible for a piece of damaged network, which they don't own, have access to or have any of their own technicians placed at the site ?

Other ISPs had the same problem, including Telecoms own customers if you take a look at the Telecom NZ section of the forums.
