Yes, more generally, when will you be switching customers from Telecom Wholesale gear to Compass Communications gear as per your agreement with Compass & Orcon to share unbundled exchange gear?

I can't comment on the orcon/compass thing because I don't know the details, but it is coming.

I agree my friend, lately everyone has been moaning concerning their poor download speeds but as with myself and after looking into the situation in more detail I found it was Telecom causing the issue's with the upgrading of a lot of their new equipment which ofcourse all i.p providers have to use.
I am getting download speeds of over 800kb/s ever since a chorus tech completed some work out on the street and he himself told me the issue's were to do with the upgrading issue's as well.
When I rang Slingshot and thanked them so to speak they were so taken by my call they gave me a $50.00 credit on my account for the phonecall now what i.s.p provider does that these days.

I would say an ISP that is very surprised that a customer is actually happy with the service they provide.

scottr: Sounds like you've been placed onto our LLU Network. We resell vodafones LLU in Auckland but have our own gear (so far) in hamilton, cambridge, te awamutu and napier.

I'm on NBT 25GB and slingshot refused to upgrade me to 40GB and I started thinking about moving. So they have the 40GB plan again now? Will they ever make up their minds?

That would've been because there was no 40gig plan to put you on when you tried to change.

The NBT plans were retired earlier in the year and replaced with the Better Home Bundle plans, which aligned the plans sold across Telecom Wholesale/Vodafone LLU/Slingshot LLU. These new plans have since been upgraded to have larger caps.

NBT 40 != Better Home Bundle 40 due to things like the VOIP line being no longer included.

They are good numbers. I would love those speeds. Mine are about 1/2 the before result

I wish I had half the before result for download. Stupid telecom taking ages with the cabinet.
