I'm with aw on this.
The first thing I would have done is get calls forwarded to another number... it's simple to do and keeps you connected if thngs are that important.
It also leaves the time for the wheels to turn without any added confusions you may cause by calling and chasing a multitude of csr's.

Once you have the new sim working then you can chase up any credits for call forwarding that may fall due... in short I think when you lose your sim you have to take the initiative, hoping the telco will take the initiative for you won't help your business.

Two degrees have been awesome for me too... Im in the middle of moving to a new provider - only because they are effectively giving me a FREE phone for the next 2 years...

It has taken them OVER a month to connect me and its still not working... I guess thats what happens huh? pay nothing for the phone and get no service either...

Doing your best is much more important than being the best.

gingofthesouth: I just wonder why it took a rant on the forums to get my number working again over 2 weeks after first trying.

History is proving that ranting on a public forum about faults can be a much quicker way of fixing them....  not because providers may pay any extra attention, but because a bunch of us can help sort the story out...

However I will add that I suspect that ^MD is a little more than your average CSR and is able to get curly problems sorted a bit quicker.

JohnR from VF is the same....

Now if I just knew who the telecom rep was!

Amber (akia) would probably be the main Telecom rep around here I would think.
