Athlonite: WTH orcon

how come from napier to sydney i can get

but from auckland to napier I only get

what on earth is going on yes I know it's 5.25pm but shouldn't that mean slower international than domestic speed

Depends on how well connected the Napier speedtest is and what transit links it uses.

Google "internet peering" and you'll learn a lot.

I'm really frustrated, ive done the speed diagnostics orcon requested but still haven't heard from them. I chased them up yesterday but the tech wasn't in the diagnostic team so i was supposed to get a callback today buy they haven't.

I think its pretty rough that my internet is pretty unusable for anything useful during the day and they wont even give me a callback
