I'd like to know when/where they're going to extend their network too.
And maybe an open ended type data thing (like XT's one) or cheaper "casual" data on their own network.

Would make a decent backup for when xnet goes down, but I don't want to be paying a month for that if im not going to use it.

How about a best mate equivalent?

You don't have to pay monthly now, just buy data packs when you need them.

when are they going to remove confusing location-based pricing for 3G data?

If the MTR decision goes through, will you be dropping your standard prepaid rates by the full 10c down to 34c? (since most/all of your on-net calling is already 22c)

Zeon: Well apparently if you have multiple numbers under an account they can all call each for free a bit like the plans that Vodafone and Telecom offer business customers. But he said there was no cost associated with this which is nothing at all like Telecom/Vodafone's offering.

I was looking at getting:
1x Unlimited calling plan
3x 60min plans

Hey Zeon - please get in touch if you're keen to sign up. Contact details are on our website: http://choicemobile.co.nz/contact-us/

But back to the original topic - I'll see you there Mauricio. Looking forward to hear what they have to say.

Could you ask when direct porting of a PSTN number to your mobile will be possible. This in theory should should be possible where they have their own cell sites at present. Your number would then be a local call when in your home area.

Pretty much would like to confirm the Hamilton Network is under construction and any ideas when it will be live?

Do 2D intend to launch a  homeline wireless product like this. Perhaps a package deal could also be combined for mobile broadband.

2degrees don't offer a Homephone Wireless product like Vodafone so there would be no chance of that until they do. Their current requirement to wholesale traffic on the Vodafone network outside their own coverage area would mean the chances of seeing them launch a similar product are probably very slim.

My question:

As 2degrees' network build gradually moves into less densely populated areas the return on investment will diminish. Given that 2degrees is consistently undercutting their competitors' pricing by most measures would it be valid to argue that it will never be economically feasible for 2degrees to ever expand their own infrastructure to match the native coverage footprints of their competitors?

http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=85&topicid=79649 - I'd be quite interested to hear the CEO's response to the questions I raised here.

I think the question has been answered pretty adequately already, to be honest. :)

If you're replying to my question, I'd still like to know what the CEOs answer is, might be quite interesting given the responses that others have given in the thread so far.
