Hope this is fixed soon... That said, it's the first issue I've ever had with 2degrees' services.. ;)

111 calls do not trigger the system that is having issues, for exactly that reason. When designing the network, you make 111 rely on as few things as possible.

We have been experiencing some intermittent connection problems that have been affecting some customers today. We have a team looking into this and it should be resolved shortly. Meanwhile, customers are encouraged to try calling a second time if their first attempt is unsuccessful. We apologise to our customers for any inconvenience this may have caused.

No matter how many times I try a call, I get call failed.  I am in christchurch, 3g doesn't work at all not even slow, waited 2 minutes and the page didn't load anything.

Seems completely broken for me.

Been broken here since 10am this morning and still no better.

Yeah! :)

Rebooted the damb phone, changed APN, blar, blar...  thought I was going bonkers.

It's not just me.

A software problem caused intermittent connection problems for some customers on the 2degrees national network for a few hours earlier today. Some customers' outgoing calls, outgoing texts, and data were affected intermittently. Incoming calls and texts were not affected, and service was completely restored by 2:30pm. 111 service was never impacted. We apologise to our customers for any inconvenience this may have caused.
