Its no wonder that people are abandoning SMS/MMS in favour of data based products when they are so unreliable and disconnected with other operators.

What do you think will happen to the volume of *MS's sent with the massive uptake with smartphones at the moment?

Most of them would own one more more stonerphones too, for things like going out on the p**s, putting a cheap sim in when selling a car, texting crazy ladies etc, so yes there are probably lots of $50 pieces of blister pack junk sold but they dont get much use.

Hell, I know someone that bought one when in another town because it was only a few bucks more than just a new charger at the same shop to use as they had left their charger at a previous place they were selling at. Once a phone is $40-$50 they really are disposable items, so sales of them should be a lot higher than decent phones.
