You do zone edits through a different control panel, so the functionally should still be there.

Yes, I was just making it clear that it is possible to change the zone file, but you just have to use a different interface, which isn't clear in their IDM. Many domain registrars that also provide free DNS server have two interfaces, rather than it all being done in the single interface.
